It is known that every chapter not matter how famous has their own traditions and rituals that their Battle Brothers adhire to. The Knights of Blood have many rituals from the red feast to ceremonial combat but one thing all Battle Brothers strive for is death by glorious battle as they beileve this is the only way a Space Marine should fall, fighting against man's foes, one should also note for this reason the chapters Apothicarions strive even harder to attend to the brothers wounds, for not only would it stain the honour of the fallen brother but also the apothicary who was tending to his wounds.

Throughtout many battles Serberus has encountered many foes during his fight to defend the Imperium of man, has destroyed the massive Bio-titains of the Tyranid menace, aided in the destruction of a Warboss'es prized Gargrant, Sundered Tau infantry before him after braving their killings fields, killed swaths of traitors and Deamons alike but there is no foe Serberus dispises more than the ancient Eldar and their dark kin. Serberus first encountered Dark Eldarwhen while on a routine patrol his strike cruiser was boarded by a "unknown foe", several bloody corridors laters Serberus comes across a tall, lithe and armoured figured despite his lack of expirence dealign with this unknown xeno Serberus charged head-first into one on one combat with the creature only to find himself on his knees in less than five lighting quick blows, battered and sliced to the point of deafeat Serberus awaited his end only to be spared his rightfull end and given mercy by the strange xeno after it claimed him to be unworthy of even killing then dissapeared into the shadows. after recovering from his wounds Serberus has devoted vast portions of his life to learnign how to reclaim his honour from the creature that spared him and leave it broken beneath his feet.

oh I could already see this:

That said with a big grin from the Dark Eldar, lol. (which is quite possible THE highest compliment they could give to anyone)

And that, my friends, is why you do not charge a Dark Eldar.

Very awesome drawing, and an interesting insight into Serberus's backstory. I am quite liking learning more about this character.

Wow, remember when he was about to face some ridiculously OP angry marine and I voted for him losing? Never thought I'll see him defeated after your 'answer'.... especially by Eldar. This must be the only defeat in his career, eh? =)

you could've made the dark eldar a bit taller though 'cause proportionally she looks like a little girl compared to scout Serberus

other than that it's awesome work and backstory :D
