WU - Pegasus Assault Marines - Redesignby *MrRumbles

This is a redesign of the previous Pegasus Assault Marine. Rather than giving them the steel-plated wings, I gave him energy based wings, which are NOT actually wings, its the excess energy coming off the jump pack. The exhaust just happens to be wing shaped!

I'm planning on making a codex for the White Unicorns with some friends, *JKAzrael and *Blazbaros.

what might be better (and more fitting to the 40k universe) is if the 'energy wings' were made from the packs jet boosts, so more an effect of the packs, then something nessicary to jump. (40K human tech being based around fairly brutal technology).

I confess: I'm still not sold on the whole head-blade thing. However, the idea of a jump pack designed to project the impression of wings in the exhaust is excellent. I'd suggest that it contains a compact holographic projector that uses the exhaust as a projection medium rather than actually having wing-shaped exhaust fumes as the latter would be far more engineering-intensive to no meaningful benefit (I realize, of course, that that is the very essence of engineering in the 41st Millennium, but still...).
